Pansy cackled as Irene stumbled haphazardly out of the Great Hall. What other mischief can I get up to today? she wondered to herself. She decided to head back to the dungeons and grab her broom to go out and fly in the rain, hoping Daphne might be there to join her for a fly.
Daphne looked up from her homework to see Pansy walk through the door. “Alright?” she greeted. “Where you off to?” Pansy gestured at the broom resting by her bed, and Daphne nodded. “Mind if I join you?” she asked.
Tracey exited Slughorn’s office and stormed out of the Slytherin common room. She needed to do something, she was terribly upset and her vision was blurred by the tears in her eyes. “I hate everything,” she screamed into the empty hallway.
The hallway wasn’t as empty as Tracey thought. Daphne emerged from the statue she was sitting behind. “Trace?” She walked tentatively towards her fellow Slytherin. “Sorry, did I scare you then? I normally sit there when I need a bit of ‘me time’. Anyway, what’s up?”
