I guess I'll just tell you this here, but I think I need a break. I know we haven't been dating long, and this is kind of out of the blue, but I'm going through some things right now that I just can't handle with other distractions. Maybe if it hadn't have been now we could have been really happy, but right now isn't a good time for me. I'm sorry, Daphne. I admire you a lot, and I'll always value our friendship, but this isn't going to work. I'm sorry.

Pansy cackled as Irene stumbled haphazardly out of the Great Hall. What other mischief can I get up to today? she wondered to herself. She decided to head back to the dungeons and grab her broom to go out and fly in the rain, hoping Daphne might be there to join her for a fly.
Daphne looked up from her homework to see Pansy walk through the door. “Alright?” she greeted. “Where you off to?” Pansy gestured at the broom resting by her bed, and Daphne nodded. “Mind if I join you?” she asked.
